Website design, graphic design, digital automation

Offcourse is intentional deviation.

Based in Amsterdam, our creative studio was founded by graphic designer Guanyan Wu and machine learning engineer Ozzy Ülger, who realized their full creative potential happens when breaking away from conventional lanes. Together we develop functional and playful visual identities, websites and digital UX strategies with design and machine learning. We help our collaborators and commissioners deviate from the predictable path to discover their most unique and exciting direction.

Radio TNP Website

Radio TNP is an independent online radio station from Amsterdam. Over eight years it has built a loyal listener base that visits its website regularly. The station wanted a site that invites more interaction and exploration without adding work for the volunteers who run it, and it wanted to automate some of the repetitive tasks in its daily routine.

Offcourse Studio designed and implemented clean, easy-to-navigate site where the liveliness comes from what defines the station: its radiomakers, shows, past events and collaborations. To make the site more interactive, we added a signup-free chat and an on-site archive.

An automated archiver turns every show the station uploads to SoundCloud into an archive page, with genres identified automatically. The site also switches between "rewind" and "live" mode on its own as shows start and end, a task that used to be done by hand. Visitors are always greeted by the sound of the station's performers.

Klaproos & Radio TNP Summer Records & Vintage Fair Visuals

After years as neighbours, Klaproos Restaurant and Radio TNP teamed up for a one-off records & vintage fair at the end of summer.

Offcourse Studio led the event's graphic design and carried it across posters, banners, stickers and animated online assets. Warm, bright colours capture the welcoming spirit of both organisations, with vinyl records and summery motifs, such as suns and palm trees, at the heart of the design.
